Environment

Working alongside the society for the conservation of Burgundy's natural sites allows the town to learn more about its environment and to protect its wide range of natural resources more effectively. Several interest groups are working to this end. The mushroom & toadstool society; the truffle group; the science & nature club of Is/Marcilly. Also, groups from various communes monitor the balance in the rivers.

Finally, Is-sur-Tille always participates in the annual "France in Bloom" competition.
